I have had my room torn up for several weeks working on that Elka Panther. Here is how it stacks up now. I think that I saw a movie where some proto-humans were dancing around that Ensoniq. Here is the entrance. Gotta have a fridge... Tidied up the wire ball around the Elka/MEK... R2D2...

Indeed. We need to know. And the 'Filter Unit'!
Looks fab though!

well.. now this is just a guess but.... the microwave generator allows you to transfer information from the event horizon of a blackhole through the filter unit directly to a console for sound shaping by your DSI Evolver allowing mortal ears to relish the beauty of the alternate universes of with the audio matter of the event horizons stripped information. just a shot in the dark

SAY WHAT? Is that an Aphex Aural Exciter or Compellor I see in that rack? Yeah! Aural Exciter! When I told my band that I bought one they thought it was some kind of asexual aphixiation enhancement module. Not many will experience the awe and mystery of the Aural Exciter. Sadly, mine is gathering dust downstairs with my Prophets, Ensoniqs, Ramsa 8212, Fostex A8 and Atari 1024ST. Incredible sound enhancement though. It worked on basically the same technology of the ORBAN stereo synthesizer.

SAY WHAT? Is that an Aphex Aural Exciter or Compellor I see in that rack? Aphex type B. Basically it is just a rack space unit. It once housed a 50's era magnetron. I have an Akai filter unit, patch bay, Akai S-615 sampler, Aphex type B exciter and a plug strip mounted in it. The bottom thing that says filter unit is just blank space now. Similar thing next to the Elka/MEK setup. Nothing on there works except the Furman plug strip. I am just using it as a cool looking way to hide all of the cables! But I have that setup where the Furman turns on the Elka/MEK and the little mixer and the KP2 (which is being used to process the Elka). Then it goes on to "the event horizon of a blackhole through the filter unit directly to a console for sound shaping by your DSI Evolver allowing mortal ears to relish the beauty of the alternate universes of with the audio matter of the event horizons stripped information." So, good guess!

;D
It looks really neat! A fine production environment with everything in manual reach. The only thing missing (AFAIC) is a puter for sequencing/recording/data-backups...

That's not a rash, it's radiation poisoning.

Well, you could use something a little bit more discrete
