I'm new to this board. I've owned my craigslist acquired Fusion 8HD for a few months now and am just getting around to working with it. My first synth was purchased in the 80's, an Akai AX60. It was actually a great little analog synth, I should have kept it. I replaced it with a durable Akai AX80, like I said before I should have kept the 60. ;D Moved on to a couple of Yamaha synths, then over to an Alesis QS7. After lots of gear was stolen a year ago I started to scope out workstations and decide this was my best choice.
I love the sounds and the flexibility of the Fusion so far. Has anyone heard of a hack to the OS to give it virtual tracks? As far as I can tell, that's the only short coming with the audio recording.
I hope to find all kinds of help in here, the Fusion is more complex than any other synth I've owned.
That's all for now.
Tim

Hi Tim, welcome to the community.
As far as I know, there can't be any OS hacks as Alesis has never leaked the OS to anyone. Shame though, huh? Lots of things could have been added.
