My Name is Henry McRoberts. I have owned my Fusion since 2006 and have a few problems with it. The keyoard itself is fine, but I recieve MIDI Frame errors when I try to connect MIDI in Fruity Loops. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
Despirately Looking for a Answer, Henry

I don't know what a MIDI frame error is but let me ask a few questions to shed a bit more light on the subject:
1. How are you connecting the Fusion to your computer? Is there any USB in your signal chain? 2. Are you connecting both MIDI in and MIDI out, just MIDI in, or just MIDI out? 3. Do you have any other devices in the chain, like another module? 4. Have you tried running the Fusion with another device instead of your computer, to determine if the MIDI problem is in the Fusion? 5. Have you tried using another device and NOT the Fusion, like a module, to determine if the problem is in how you have the settings in FLoops set?
Last but not least...
6. Have you updated your Fusion OS?
Looking at each of these questions may help you determine where the problem actually is.

Hey guys. new to the forum but I owned my fusion 8hd since 06'. I used my fusion with reasons and pro-tools and I never had a problem. but thats my problem. I never actually used the fusion itself. It was midi to my my box, triggerd reasons, which would be recorded in midi form on pro-tools. I just want to record my first track. This keyboard is very confusing to me. I can work computer programs like nothing but this here is like a whole different language. Any help will appreciated and as I learn more I shall return the favor .Thanks

I would strongly recommend the Alesis tutorial pack: www.alesis.com/contentmgr/showdetails.php/id/1149/tt/5I say that because they are well-prepared and will allow you to move past the initial stages to the point where others with far more espertise than me might be able to assist you with the finer points of recording in the Fusion.
