Now I am REALLY looking forward to this: finally some emphasis on SOFT playing and not how hard/high can velocity go to get heard with drums and a wall of Marshall stacks
My test will be Moonlight Sonata played as if I were trying to whisper the opening pharses
Yea I know this ain't a 40 Terabyte sample but I can hope :-)

It sounds nice the tweaked holy grail as I wrote above, but I noticed one issue. When I play fast and strong chords with sustain it is clipping... Is there any way the prevent that from happening?

When you increase the EQ levels this may raise the total volume of a Program. In this case a simple reduction of the setted Program volume can help. If you hooked the Fusion to a mixing console you should check the Gain too. It also depends on the global velocity settings how the EQ increaments will affect the total volume. Usually the Fusion is a bit worry when the bass EQ is really high leveled and can produce unwelcome hiss or spikes. A decent reduction of the bass EQ amount will help.

Great, hope it's the right thing for you! Order processing is usually rather quick, depends on the time zone and longest is a few hours, quickest in minutes. Cheers, Klaus

My problem is slightly different. I managed to get the 2 insert effects set up but where do I find the Master EQ settings?

On the main Effects page.

Ok, I thought I looked there though.....Is that available once you are into program edit? Been quite a while since I delved into the workings of my Fusion but I need a decent stage piano sound. kpr. Out of interest, which one of your sample packs contains Yamaha Stage Piano's such as the P150/200 etc?

As soon as you are in the Program Mode and press EDIT and then the EFFECTS page you are entering the Main Equalizer page right away. See the frequency setting options on the left side and on the right side you find the Insert and Bus Effect subpages as well as the Modulation page. You can easily check the Fusion owner's manual to get an impression about the parameter locations, this is such a big help.
Concerning my Grand Piano collections: Those are samples recorded with Steinway, Yamaha and Kawai Grand Pianos.
I don't know too much about the samples inside the Yamaha P-series, but usually Yamaha is sampling Yamaha Grand Pianos.
