I love Korg X3's Piano 16', Steinway is tops but too overused. Holy grail works great - but not perfect. SO for me, the best is..... Yamaha Clavinova. Lemme know ur opinions pls
I dnt why, but the Alesis Fusion seems as if Middle C is more sensitive than the other notes.

I used to own a Korg X2, which had it's own dedicated 2MB piano, called (I think!) X2 piano. I also have an old set of Emu samples called 'Grand Gold pianos' and they're great too.

My fave piano on the Fusion is the Hollowsun freebie, the cunningly titled 'Grand Piano'.
Other than that one (which is now in my top three), I like my tweaked and layered piano on the EX7 and for more 'distant' applications, the piano in the Miroslav Philhamonik VSTi.
Even though I do mainly electronic stuff, I play with piano sounds more often than just about anything else.

On the Fusion it's the HS Piano like shreddie. The VSTi I'm liking the most right now is the NI Akoustik Pianos Bosendorfer 280.

I use both of KPR's Yamaha samples from his Grand Piano package for the Fusion all the time. I like the Hollow Sun Grand Piano too, though it's a bit too tame (too classical-oriented) for my pop/rock style...

I like very much the grand pianos in the VSTi sampletank. They are sweet and powerfull, very smooth and musical. There is a free one, in the sampletank free edition which is very nice too. Soon I will try to convert it into a fusion program and see how it sounds there. I like also the Plugsound free piano, even if it is too sweet for power music use.

I have discovered "Studio Upright" which is a very good Fusion Piano that I like to play live with my band now. It is very good for live usage with a pop band.
