I've offered this simple tip to so many fusion users and I think it should permanently be at the top of the tips topic so anyone experiencing problems can see it. When your fusion starts to present a lot of errors there is a ridiculously simple fix for this.
All you have to do is backup your fusion to your computer. After that is finished, format the HD. After that, put everything from your backup back onto your fusion. That is it. It should terminate any errors. If it doesn't than perhaps your Fusion is faulty.
If you are experiencing a different sort of error where you can't get past the loading screen and it freezes and wont do anything after you turn it on, turn on the fusion going into diagnostic mode holding 1 and 8 at the same time until the diagnostic menu comes up. You will be presented with several options to select with the soft buttons surrounding the screen. Select the second option "I/O". Connect your USB cable to your computer. Now on the right side of the screen select the "USB" option. Now your computer can read the HD on the fusion. Now you should back up everything onto your computer.
After you have backed up everything, on the left of the menu select the "Media" button. On the right side of that menu, select "HD Test". Now press play which will erase everything on the HD, essentially re-formatting the Fusion. After that is finished, turn the Fusion off and then back on again, making sure everything is working properly. Now all you have to do is put everything from your back up back onto your Fusion like before. Now it should start up with no problem.
This is very simple to do and has saved my fusion a few times. I bet a good amount of people have gotten rid of their fusion because they did not know how to do this. This has always corrected any errors I have gotten that could not be resolved with a simple reboot. Good luck.
