What was the reason that you do not use the Fusion keyboard? not enough range? Why not, it's the same as the 8HD now. Good Idea! if you could buy a 6HD cheap you can use the Fusion as a sound module? hmmmm... Hey Klaus and Steve! Develop a Fusion VST/RTAS. It's our only hope for our the future DAW.

LOL love the First assembly of DAW pic!! I have such limited space actually its a 60 x 21 inch area i have all that packed into. I'm trying to learn to play keyboard so i figured the 88 key Fatar would be best to learn on. The action is excellent and approximates a piano better than the others. It has two midi outs so it can drive both the Fusion and the AN1X or soft synths at the same time if i want. Basically im using the Fusion as a sound module for now until i move into a larger area. Then i will get a two tier stand for the 88 keys and the Fusion. I just picked up a 10u rack case for a cheap price so i hope to fill it with sound modules when i have the room. My next piece of kit will be a Digital Music Corp MX-8 MIDI patchbay processor i have my eye on locally. My goal is to have enough keyboards and rack mounts someday that i wont have to use oil to heat my house. Fusion VST ? might be cool but i still like having hardware to keep me warm and fuzzy feeling. Uuum on second thought can i make a pre order on that?

You must be a happy man !!! Cool stuff in your room :-)
The Studio 900 was my first 88 keys keyboard, too. Great felling on it, but very limited for realtime control of modules...

Thanks Deweak! Yeah the Fatar has some limitations but for piano parts it has such a nice action. I use my AN1x as my general purpose controller. So far i am pretty happy, i will be ecstatic when i finish rebuilding the last four TF1 modules in my Yamaha TX816 this weekend. I have 4 running great at the moment. Once i finish i will be in FM heaven with 9 DX7's running in concert. Even with 5 the sound is Huge!! Once im finished i hope to make some coool samples for the Fusion with it. Here is a picture of it cleaned up a bit with 4 modules running. Took me a hour to get the glue off the front from the old stickers someone had on it.
