Hello Fusioneers, I feel kinda lazy today so I ask if anyone already recreated the piano sound of Echoes from Pink Floyd on the Meddle LP. I guess the HG piano, a lot of reverb and maybe a bit of rotary effect might do the job but maybe one of you already tweaked the HG piano tosound like Echoes ! Thanks in advance mates.

Yes, I already did it. The Program name is "Meddle Piano" and you can find it in my very first Fusion collection "Fusion Presets by kpr". Some important details are Hi and Low Master EQ increaments, Insert effect Organ Rotary, OSC1 Vintage EP, OSC2 Holy Grail Grand ff, not too much Reverb (Hall, 70%).

I was definitely tired and lazy (and stupid !!) today. Thanks Klaus, I bought your library some months ago and didn't check it before posting on the forum (in fact I didn't check any of my libraries) ! Will not do that again ! lol Thanks anyway !

I've been looking at KPR's site.....a LOT of programs.
Would anyone like to share their experiences (read reivew) his sound banks? I was looking at grand piano and organ primarily, though would love to hear any others that gave good value.
Thanks.

Commercial libraries come from Hollow Sun (Steve) www.hollowsun.com/shop/buy.htm, KPR - Backintime (Klaus) www.backintimerecords.de/bitr022.htmand Picaja (Joeri) though I think Joeri gave up because some assholes stole his work (12 € for 250 Mb of samples and 100 programs was probably too expensive in their opinion) but you can always try to contact him www.picaja.be/. I bought quite a few and downloaded most of the free libraries and I think that both free and commercial stuff is usually rather good. Some libraries are just new programs using the Fusion ROM samples or VA or FM (or even in some exotic cases Reed). Those libraries are usually cheap and are quite interesting in my opinion when it uses VA and FM. Klaus is definitely a more talented and experienced sound designer than me and his VA programs show how powerful the Fusion can be. You'll get new suprising sounds and a great way to improve your mastering of the fusion by tweaking others work. Some libraries contain samples (and multisamples) and programs so you get new sound fields to explore. The Nebulae library from Hollow Sun is a great example of pads programmed using additional samples (600 Mb) You must keep in mind that every synth. has its own pros and cons. I don't think there's a way to get a fantastic piano or Rhodes or B3 or any other acoustic - electro/acoustic sound from the Fusion, its memory is too limited. Other synths sampled, filtered and modulated in the Fusion usually sound quite better than acoustic sounds so you'll find the same qualities and drawbacks in the libraries. To sum up, I really like the "synth sounds" libraries and I bought quite a few and happy with it but the "acoustic" libraries demos didn't totally convinced me. It's just my opinion and everyone has its own truth. What you hear is what you get and the demos are a good way to judge if a library fits your tastes and needs.

Thanks frog.
The fusion isn't my primary keyboard but I'm amazed at how well it complements my Kurzweil. I've downloaded all the free sounds and feel like I should reward the hard work of these people by buying a few banks. Jori (the V-Stream ghy, right?) even helped me with a problem I was having with his free sounds. Think I'll email him again and see if he still sells his other bank o' sounds.

As a good start, I would suggest the 'Fusion Presets by KPR' 384 programs with no extra samples for 39 €. Klaus crafted a lot of all-use programs (Pads, Basses, Strings, ...) though you might find the same kind of sounds on your Kurzweil I would also suggest the great Nebulae library from hollow sun. Great pads ! A trip in another galaxy for 49 € !
PS : Steve and Klaus, I can also sell hair dryers, egg boilers, air guitars and much more ! If you have a weid invention to be sold, I'll do the job ! lol
