Hello everyone! I bought an used Alesis Fusion 6HD today, apparently in perfect state. Have already formatted the hd, installed latest OS and loaded the hd with everything that was available at official alesis website. I've also managed to use the pc software to transfer 3 soundfonts to fusion and all went well. ROM sounds are quite bad, but the downloaded one's are fine and I suppose I can fill the beast with my own and the one's I'm downloading now from this forum. I have a studio in Brazil, www.estudiodrummond.com.br and hope to produce an album from my own music (synth album).

Check out Klaus @ Back In Time Records. HE is now the major new sound and sample guy that took the fusion to new levels. I know that by what others say and my own ears tell me so with his many demos of his sounds and information columns. I have not been able to afford his fine works, but I will soon, and thats something I really look forward to. Avoid sound Fonts and read psionic"s posts in Tips to keep you busy and get you up to date of where this Kronos killer lives. and there are other pro sampler/programer people out there if you look around here. Very friendly helpful people about especially Jessie and parametric to name 2. Have fun! we do. Ron Fuller

Thanks guys! After having more time to check the rom and download all free hollow sound content I actually found lots of good stuff there. I will take my time learning how to use the fusion and surely will ask for help when needed. Thanks for the warm welcome!
