Hi folks, I have tried to search the forum for any posts related to this but when i use the terms "FM" or "DX7" they are removed from the search because they are less than 4 characters so forgive me if this has been covered already. Ok here goes. I have quite a few patches i use on my DX7 and TX816. Is there a way to translate or a method for recreating DX7 patches to use with the Fusions FM engine or is it just wishful thinking?

If such a conversion software will really happen someday it is still not sure if it works as expected.
DX7 sounds for Fusion can be simulated by reworking them on the Fusion by someone who knows the DX7 quite well. But it is really work.
The easy job is to sample those few DX sounds. Even this is still work too.

No prob! No, I just remembered that DX7 templates had been posted in the user sounds section and had a quick look... I started on page 4 (the end) and spotted the 4-op template which I'd forgotten about then spotted the DX templates on page 3. No automated searching, just a good memory!
