I recently bought a Roland xv5050 sounds banks off a seller on eBay. I had to download a app called B1 to extract the downloads. After opening the files, I opened one for example, nice piano ( a name of one of the instruments). Let me go back for a second, I clicked on the volume folder and inside was several instruments banks. From there I clicked on nice piano bank. In there it was the folders samples, multisamples, and programs. All suppose to be in afp, aft, etc format. For example, I right clicked on programs and copied and then went to volume on the fusion and pasted. Unplugged the fusion keyboard from computer and started verifying. I went to the sample bank after verifying all and seen that the sound, nice piano was there. But I was pushing the piano keys down I noticed it was just the holy grand piano sound that was already in my Alesis Fusion. Have someone ever had this problem?

As we said before,
You should NOT be going inside the Volume folder of what you have bought and copying bits and pieces in to the Fusion's Volume folder.
The File Structure of the Fusion is VERY SPECIFIC. If you have put things in wrong places, then results will be unexpected.
I'm not saying it CAN'T be done, but you need IN DEPTH knowledge of the Filing system. Read Joeri Peeters VStream_Manual to understand it.
I personally NEVER do what you are describing.
ONLY drag the Volume Folder of what you have bought to the ROOT of the Fusion_HD.
If your Fusion is now not working as expected - you will probably have to reformat the Hard Drive and re-install Everything.

Wow. I hope not. That was a lot of stuff. I did manage to get one sound in doing it the way you described. It load in. But I tried to do another instrument and it didn't work. But I did click on the volume folder in the fusion an noticed that a folder called volume was in there with the song, mixes, patterns, programs, samples, and multisamples folders. Should it be in there?

Should it be in there? No. There should NOT be a volume folder INSIDE the Fusion's Volume folder.
You may be lucky (provided you have not done anything further) if you delete that - and re-verify ALL.
That should get you back to where you were before you added the Roland stuff.
THEN try again with the ROLAND volume folder . . (Drag IT NEXT to the Fusion's volume, NOT INTO it . . .

Ok. I also noticed when I do verify everything in the fusion. And bank name multisamples is in the program area. When I open it, it is blank. no sounds at all. But on the computer when I open volume and program it show it. Have ever bought sounds like this before? If I got the chicken system fusion creator will that make a difference?

Fusion Creator is only for making Banks from SAMPLES you already have. It can also convert .sf2 files to Fusion Banks. It is of no help for installing 3rd Party Banks.
You have to Learn and be Clear how to install 3rd Party Banks. Only drag the Volume Folder of Banks you have bought to the ROOT of the Fusion_HD - then verify ALL This is the correct way. MOST 3rd Party Banks SHOULD come with instructions how to install - IF NOT, use the Volume Folder method above. I have no way of knowing what you have done - and you don't say if your Fusion is now behaving NORMALLY. I would reformat the Fusion Drive. CHECK that the Factory Sounds are working, THEN Try and install the ROLAND Bank as I described. Check that THEY are all there and WORK. Then you can re-install the HollowSun Banks. parametric

Ok. Finally got them to work. I had to process them the long way again. I had to open up the volume of the sound I wanted and drag got example samples, to the volume of fusion. Long process but it works. I think something might be wrong with my keyboard because I have to do things this way
