Hi, I got my Fusion 6HD new from Guitar Center on Mass Ave in Boston some 20 years ago. Never even tried it once. Now that I’m a member here I have to. Soon.

Welcome Sir!
Never know you had a Fusion . . . .
It has it's own "little ways" (don't they all?) but I think you'll like it a lot . . .
If it really has not been plugged in for 20 years - there might be remedial work to do?
Dried out Caps and the like . . .
Let us know . .

Thanks Chris, glad to finally be here. Sure hope there won’t be anything amiss when I launch the Fusion ...

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast"
Welcome Fleer, one thing to be concerned about on the 6HD's especially is the power supply the original one puts out a lot of heat and is more critical in the 6HD than the 8HD you should look into purchasing new version of the power supply the circuitry was changed a little and the small heat sink was made larger for better cooling.
The new Alesis PSU part # is SPSHA33R4-58N for the Alesis Fusion & MPC5000 the part number printed on the new PSU is 9-79-0361

Thanks, Jesse! How would I know I have the old or new power supply? Also, if I will be using the Fusion 6HD in Europe, would that matter?

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" If you are in Europe you are lucky as the PSU are not available here in the USA This is what the new PSU looks like - the smaller heat sink is larger than on the old version PSU New version Fusion PSU
