MISSION STATEMENT
The Fusion Club has been set up by enthusiastic and committed Fusion users to be a friendly place for like-minded people who appreciate the extraordinary Alesis Fusion multi-engine synth/sampler to exchange ideas, help each other out, share hints and tips, share expertise and experience, etc.. It is NOT a soapbox for people to air grievances about the instrument or its manufacturer - if you want to do that, please go elsewhere ... or take it up with Alesis themselves. With that in mind....
CLUB RULES
SUPPORTED LANGUAGES
Unfortunately, the Fusion Club can only support English.
PROFANITY
There is no profanity filter at the Fusion Club as it is accepted that the members are all grown-ups and can handle (and may even use) 'choice' language on occasions. Besides which, there is little or no difference to disguising a profanity and using the actual word - we all know the intention so let's not be silly about it! That said, please respect other members' sensitivities and be selective in your use of such words and try not to use profanities as a matter of course.
Please avoid profanities of a religious nature.
Racial insults will not be tolerated.
COPYRIGHT CONTRAVENTION
The Fusion Club does not support copyright contravention of sound library or other protected works. Any posts promoting or endorsing the illegal distribution of copyrighted material will be deleted immediately and the poster banned without warning. No exceptions! If in doubt, please contact the moderators for advice.
GENERAL
Also known as the 'common sense' clause!
Members must conduct themselves in a sensible and reasonable manner with respect to the above Club Rules. Healthy and productive discussion is encouraged but the Club will not be allowed to descend into flame-fests, trolling, heated (and pointless) arguments, name calling, insulting behaviour, repetitive (and pointless) rants, etc..
These rules are in place not to curb freedom of expression or to enforce censorship. Neither is the Fusion Club a place where Fusion and/or Alesis are only to be seen through rose coloured spectacles! The rules are in place to keep the Fusion Club a useful and helpful place to visit, especially if you are a Fusion owner/user wanting to get the most from your instrument. It cannot be denied as well that one purpose of the Fusion Club is to engender a more positive attitude towards a remarkable instrument that has had its fair share of knocks and bashing in its short lifetime. However, that was then and this is now - let's move on. The fact of the matter is that there are many thousands of contented Fusion users worldwide and the Fusion Club is a place for those people to get together with like-minded users.
In other words.... behave yourself and we can all enjoy a great little internet venue to enhance our Fusion experience. If this promotes further sales of Fusion, that can only help the greater good of the growing Fusion community!
If you have any objection to the Rules and/or the basic premise of the Fusion Club, maybe it's not for you.

CLUB RULES
- The Fusion Club will not allow 'flaming' or 'trolling' of any kind. Any such posts will be deleted immediately and the poster banned without warning. No exceptions!
- Constructive comments or criticism are welcome but please do so in a calm and respectful manner. Undue and unecessary (and/or repetitive) criticism of Fusion and/or Alesis will be dealt with robustly and swiftly. Any posts 'ranting' against Fusion and/or Alesis will be deleted immediately and the poster banned without warning. No exceptions!
- No criticism of Alesis' marketing or development plans or strategies will be tolerated - it's their company and their product and they can do what they want with it. If they decide to give a Fusion away with every box of cornflakes, that's their decision! If you have issues with their policy decisions, take it up with Alesis. They can be contacted here:

Email: info@alesis.com
Telephone: 1 (401) 658-5760
Fax: 1 (401) 658-3640
Any such critical posts at the Club will be deleted immediately and the poster banned without warning. No exceptions! - Publishing the contents of any private correspondence (email, PM, letters, etc.) from Alesis or other Club members will not be tolerated. Such communications are private and 'publishing' them without permission is not only a breach of confidence but also illegal. Any such posts will be deleted immediately and the poster banned without warning. No exceptions!
- Raking over Fusion's troubled past is irrelevant and pointless now in view of several significant OS updates. Fusion is now a very different instrument to the one released in 2005. Any such posts referring to earlier OSs will be deleted immediately and the poster banned without warning. No exceptions!
- Any posts criticising Club policies will be deleted immediately. If you have any issues with Club policies, contact the moderators via email or PM.
- Club members will be expected to conduct themselves in a civilised and respectful manner at all times. Failure to do so will result in instant dismissal without warning. No exceptions!
