It does look like a cool setup (and right there with you on the hitting things!) - but I'd be scared of mistaking the Kaoss Pad for a drumpad in the heat of the moment... something tells me they wouldn't react well

I think that one thing about electronic drums is that you have to learn to be more precise. I mean they are much smaller than an acoustic set and your aim improves. The Octapad was on the left side of my acoustic setup for years and those pads are small! Care must be taken so that when you are at the big, dramatic crescendo of a song you don't mistakenly trigger an anti climatic cowbell or samba whistle. Not that I ever did that.

Nice!!!!!!!!!! By the way, I sometimes hit my keyboards! D - but I'd be scared of mistaking the Kaoss Pad for a drumpad in the heat of the moment... something tells me they wouldn't react well That would be chaotic, now, wouldn't it? -Or if I 'STICK' to the puns, should I say 'wooden' it? Ouch! I'll just shut my gob and play! D

Nice!!! Have a similar thing going on with a TD12 kit, TC FireworX, an Elektron MachineDrum a Motif ES Rack (for percussion) and of course a KP3 Your brave sticking the KP3 near your kit though Been very tempted to add an SPD-S as well - mainly as a means of controlling Live 6 from a drums via MIDI.
