Hey Fusion users. I've only had my fusion for a little while, but I can't seem to find a good siren patch or a turntable needle sound (the scratching sound in between tracks on an album. Any one have a good patch or know where I should look?
Thanks

sample your own perhaps? (certainly the vinyl noise should be pretty easy - always assuming you have a turntable of course!)

I used the program labeled "itchie" in the Synth 2 category (I think) and in the Edit menu, modified the pitchwheel parameters from the pre-programmed +/- 2 setting to the maximum +/- 12 (so it really bends) on Riding the Storm Out by REO Speedwagon for the opening and ending siren parts. It was very well applauded by my band mates. Give it a try! Pink Floyd used a lot of sirens in the album "the Wall" due to the overarching WWII theme. I believe there is a record needle before a song/ kinda white noise on that album as well. That would be a good place to sample if going that route. Let me know how you do and if this helps. -Doc.
