After receiving a request on the forum from Rainbird for some toy piano samples, I recalled having some on my S6000. So, here they are, converted into a bank for Fusion. Just download either archive (zip or rar, according to preference), unpack and copy the Volume folder into the root of your Fusion's HD, answering yes to any overwrite prompts. Verify all folders and subfolders. Voila, a set of 5 toy piano sounds. The key range of these is limited to that of the source instrument. Also, just like the source instrument, these are provided as pure, clean samples with no FX or tweaking assignments. Many thanks go to Reyn, a Dutch music producer who gave these to me many years ago. His site is no longer functioning, but all due credit to him for creating these. Thanks also to Steve for his contribution. Reyns Toy Pianos .RAR fileReyns Toy Pianos .ZIP fileEnjoy

Steve - that's me playing a little red Schoenhut. (thanks to you...AND Roberto.) Guillaume35 - my need for toy piano sounds is the fault of one of YOUR countrymen, Yann Tiersen! So I'm not surprised that you appreciate them too!

Excellent. I too appreciate this. Bring on the toy pianos, honky tonks, and other mechanical creations.

Are these toy piano sounds still available?
The link originally provided doesn't appear to be working now.

If Roberto doesn't or can't re-upload them, I still have the .zip file.

Roberto hasn't logged in since Feb. 2008, according to the profile feature, if it's accurate.

On a related topic, the website www.miniorgan.com is worth checking out. Lots of toy keyboards from the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Seeing Waddington's Compute-a-Tune again brought back some fond memories for me. It was the first, erm, 'sequencer' I ever owned.
