As discussed elsewhere here, I am no longer supporting Fusion for a variety of reasons. However, some people have enquired about a 'last chance' opportunity to get the sounds, commercial and freebies. The commercial libraries are available to buy HERE. It is $25 and includes 'Nebulae', 'Taurus' and 'Novachord' Fusion Editions. The Hollow Sun Freepacks are available HEREThese will be available for a limited time. Cheers, Steve

Hi - can you confirm the price for the commercial libraries - I would be paying in Euro, and I see the dollar sign there...keen to get these, if they're still available, so thanks for the help.

Paid, downloaded. I was reticent before as I'm not the richest person ever, but at this price it is hard to ignore. This is the second time ever I've bought any sort of synth expansion so here goes. Steve, I know it's been said before but just to re-iterate - thank you for your Fusion support. I firmly believe had it not been for the Hollow Sun sounds my music making would be considerably poorer, such is the inspiration I've drawn from them. The range, quality and damn usefulness of the sounds is incredible and the old school machine samples are beyond words. I feel like gloating at people who shell out hundreds of pounds for expansion cards or whatever. For me it is just about playing for the love of hearing my own music, knowing I did something I really liked. That cheers me up loads when I'm feeling down. I had better stop before I get the kneepads out , but I hope this doesn't sound OTT as it's genuinely meant.

Thanks for your kind comments, chaps - much appreciated. And good to see that some are taking advantage of the EOL offer.
I love Fusion, particularly the 8HD and its lovely keyboard but times change and I can't be continuing to make can openers when all cans these days have ring pulls ... IYSWIM!
It's been a pleasure and a privilege to have been involved with such an innovative synth and it's a crying shame that the instrument didn't work out as Alesis planned it - it could have set new standards.
But that's water under the bridge.
I am happy to have played my small part in Fusion's (eventual) acceptance but I feel my work is done and it's time to move on to pastures new. Kontakt is an exciting development platform and without doubt, the highlight of that is its scripting especially in Kontakt 4 which allows me to design and build user interfaces optimised for any library I create. I have already delved into that with Kontakt 3 and my String Synths and CP70 and other libs go some way to replicating the control panels of the actual instruments I sampled. And there's also my HSDV Drum Synth which is an entirely new concept in electronic drum libraries.
Kontakt 4 takes that to new levels with custom graphics. It's very complicated and there's lots to learn but it's very exciting and challenging.
It's also been a pleasure to have built friendships and relationships with the many talented Fusion users here, many of which have become firm friends that extend beyond our mutual interest in Fusion.
But I'd prefer it if you didn't think that I am 'abandoning' Fusion ... I am just moving on. Fusion - and the whole period I was involved with her - will always have a soft spot in my heart and my career but times change and I have to adapt.
I have some exciting things planned for 2011 with Kontakt and it's a new challenge I am very much looking forward to.
Cheers,
Steve

thanks for the final offer (i'm downloading now!) and, even more so, thanks for all the freepacks and previous work you put into the fusion.
I hope it's ok that I copied and pasted the links from your message over at the harmony central kss forum (it can't be found on hollowsun.com) - I'm sure a lot of fusion owners that aren't registered here will buy the packs and more.

Paid and now I'm downloading. Hope it's good stuff, it's my first "blind" download. ;D But the good knowing about Steve's hard working is the reason doing it in that way. Hope you will have a great time in future and a good feeling with Nativeinstruments and Kontakt 4! Thank you! Yours Michael
B.t.w. it was nearly 19,00 Euro today

Hey! I am new to this group and to Fusion. I purchased the end of line set and not sure where (or even if ) I loaded it. I tried looking in my Alesis folder I created but I am not seeing it there. I searched my computer using Hollow sun EOl in the search bar and still not seeing it! Do I have the name of the download wrong? If you have loaded it I could really use some help. Sorry for my ignorance. I am actually an E drummer trying to expand my horizons. Thanks in advance!

Hi DigiPup - and welcome to the forum . . . . When you downloaded the eol bundle, it will have arrived as a.zip file. I think 7Zip is recommended for unpacking, but any other should work ok. Get this documents and follow it carefully. It describes in detail how to add stuff to the Fusion . . . www.alesis.com/extras/product/fusion/HDVolumeInstallation.zipIt is ESSENTIAL to do the Verify process each time you ADD (OR REMOVE) stuff from the Fusion's HD - or it will have no idea whats been done. That should be that. . . Be sure to get the FreePacks from Hollowsun as well (61593_fusionfp.zip) payloadz.com/d1/freeproducts.asp?id=1384549Best Regards parametric
