That is a very good idea mstsfreak. I've written to Joeri as you suggested, thanks.

Just discovered that the Vstream_01 package is still available via the Fusionzone forum via their Dropbox page. What a great bunch of people Fusion users are

Hi there, I have the same problem as gekorgy: having loaded the 2 vstream banks into the Fusion, I'm getting "missing multisample" messages for several presets in vstream 2. I've retried re-verifying in the Fusion, but the msgs still appear, even after I accept the "substitute" sounds. Anyone managed to get round this problem?

Yes indeedy! But I'm getting lots of errors. I guess I could always try reinstalling them, unless anyone else has any suggestions.

List the vstream 2 programs that are giving you the missing multisample errors, so we can check them out on our Fusion's

Hi Jesse, here's what's given "missing multisample" errors so far: In vstream 2, Huge Analog saw pad, Children play, Humanish pad, Atomium pad In vstream 1 (FreeV), er, I forgot the name of it! (I'm running up and down the stairs between PC and studio at the moment!)
I've tried re-downloading v1 and v2 from Vstream's dropbox and then recopied them to the Fusion, re-verified several times...
I'm just wondering, do I have to Verify after each bank is copied, or can I verify everything at once when I've copied both banks?

Just noticed another strange thing: vstream 1 presets 1-4 IN THE FUSION are 2081 station, Emersbass, Van Halen Solo, Space voices, but in the PDF listing Fusion Program List, they are given as 90's NumanChoir, Agressor, Analog 80'S, Vstreams Vox Numana
Am I loading the wrong presets?

Hi Francisf,
Personally, I verified Multisample, Program & Sample individually for each bank. Haven't had any problems since. I've since learned I could have 'marked' those three and verified all at once, but I'm a complete newbie and am still feeling my way somewhat.

Ha ha Gekorgy, I've had the Fusion 4 years and I still feel like a novice with it! Just out of interest, was it the "Verify" that sorted your problem with the Missing Multisamples? I still haven't worked out what I'm doing wrong here...

Just figured out what the pb is: my vstream 1 is the wrong set of sounds, as it only contains two banks, A and B, i.e. 16 presets instead of 128. That explains why vstream 2 can't find some samples it needs in vstream1 for its own presets. Can anyone shed any light on this? I dowmloaded the banks from vstrema's Dropbox account: is there another location I should download from?

Hi Jesse, and thanks for the dropbox link. The pb is, your set is the same as what I downloaded from vstream's dropbox, with only 16 presets in the Program folder for vsteram 1, whereas 128 are listed in the Alesis preset list. Could you (or anyone) confirm whether your vstream 1 (Freev or Vfree) contains only 16 presets, or is it 128?
Also, vstream 2 doesn't have a VOLUME folder, so you can't load them into the Fusion as they are. Has anyone else noticed this? How did you get round it? (Myself, I simply put the sounds in a new folder called volume.)

Hi francisf,
It's been a while since I loaded these two . . .
If I remember correctly, one of them has a <setup> that you run to install, the other is a "manual" installation.
Joeri produced a document about it - which explains the Fusions file structure well.
If you want to be "comfortable" loading (and removing) Banks and other files in and out of the Fusion, its important to understand how it likes things to be.
Spend some time with Joeri's document. It's a nicely done piece of work . . . .
Sorry I can't attach it here, the 1Mb limit prevents it. (It's 1.02Mb !)
If you pm me your email address, I'll send it to you
Best Regards
