I agree absolutely with you Steve (BTW, I've heard you were on stage with Genesis helping put gear on some years ago;) what a pleasure !!! ). I enjoy and love my Fusion every day a little more. I'm not able to do that Falcon do, I'm not smart enough. I'm not the king of programming (even one of the worst:)) but I'm not looking all this new features to become high level synth player/programmer. Not at all. Just I would like see Fusion rebirth for all the little masses who do not know how important things and features are inside and in the same time, allow Alesis to be recognized with justice about this great product, and allow earn enough money to give richer versions every day (as K-1000/2000/2500 from Kurzweil) and mainly: not to stop developpement of Fusion technology . Between you and me , I know very well I'm not a real profesional anymore, I bought gear to get fun and learn, and I got both into Fusion. The little rest of smart is off for holidays & kids Cheers Steve. Congratulations again Paul(and sorry to explose your post)

Well said Steve. If it was easy we would all be professional sound designers.

Falcon: Absolutely outstanding!!! -Bully for you! -I knew it could be done... Below is a snippet of a post I did last December regarding the Fusion on another forum: Posted: Mon Dec 25, 2006 8:05 pm [glow=red,2,300]And then there's the LFO's and the arpeggiator; these can be powerful tools to give a lot of animation to your patch (especially in a Mix/Combi/Perfomance/Setup -whatever you call it) ... rivaling wavesequencing or transwaves/wavetables. [/glow] Thanks for proving me correct! D P.S. re: soundscape factor I believe that there are only two types of music; good and bad... -This was good!

2.May be Alesis can easily add wave sequencing to fusion, as 5th synthesis engine... (possible?). You wouldn't need another synth engine. A simple 4 way cross fade module and a vector EG would do it. I posted a LONG time ago about this here (graphic has since gone missing - sorry): Graphic basically represents an envelope that has both X and Y coordinates... www.promusicproducts.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=369&highlight=vector

...which could, of course, be simulated with a single decay-only envelope sweep and four modulation routings, one to the volume of each oscillator, each with a custom table which defines the "real" envelope shape. In fact, doing that would give you something akin to multistage envelopes too, come to think of it... Then all we need now is the sample set from a Kawai K1 and a K4, and we're all set.

Aside from your advanced knowledge of the Fusion, your musicianship as far as arranging is exceptional. You've taken a very simple composition & transformed it into a very colorful, immerseful piece of art.You are most definately a talent that I would love to collaborate with.More than ever,I am quite sold on what one can accomplish with the Fusion & the Fusion will be a nice addition to complete my studio. Please, keep the music coming!!
