Hi all
I am back using cubase and I'm trying to import the MIDI files of songs created using the fusion into cubase. What I can't figure out is why all the bus send levels are reset to zero when the song starts playing. There's probably a one of those CC messages that is doing this. Any one know which??
Thanks

Yes, it's a mess - for one reason or another, the Fusion inserts a series of 4 CC messages in the beginning of a track. My advice: delete them immediately. They can also cause the wrong program to sound. I try, but don't, understand why the Fusion does this... you would only need those if you enable record automation anyway (which, again, for some strange reason, needs to be enabled in playback mode as well)

The sequencer is usefull as an upgraded note pad, since it´s so quick to setup a song and start recording, but I really don't have the patience to put up with these irritating things it does so I'm back to software. I wonder who had that ideia? Who the hell thought it would make sense to boost the volume to 100% everytime a track starts?? The best thing to do is to do what you said, but if in cubase you delete that first bar the fusion puts in the MIDI file then it all goes away. Problem is if you have actually played any notes there, but that wasn't the case. Thanks for the reply

Easiest way is via the Event list - there you can just delete those annoying CC messages
