I've mixed the first covers demo of my band Kimura. We've got five tracks on our Myspace : www.myspace.com/kimuraliveFor my keyboards parts, most of pads come from the Fusion 6HD, pianos are the the PC1x's and I play the leads on the V-Synth GT.

Sorry, but what means tight ? Errmmm ... it means 'tight'! A modern musical term that's actually tricky to define. It means that they play very well in time with each other - everybody is well synchronised. The bass plays on the beat at the same time as the kick drum, the guitar and keyboard play in time with the bass and drums. Tight! The opposite is 'sloppy' where a band don't play very well in time with each other. I thought 'tight' was universally known in this context. Typical usage includes such observations as "Prince's 'New Power Generation' are as tight as a duck's arse" Steve

Arf, ok ! I never heard about that ! Here, in France, we say "carré" (square) when everything is well synced. So thanks MPS, but I don't find us so tight :-) For the demos, we played on a clic track but it was a new exercise for the drummer and the guitarist, so they're not always well placed in time. Nevertheless, I'm quite satisfied because we've done everything in re-recording (with the drummer sessions after everyone else).
