Mine should be here with me tomorrow. I've only been using Reason on my mac so am looking forward to seeing how well the two integrate.
The reviews i've read look stellar for this machine and I've also heard about some of the issues so am going in with the eyes open.
I used to own quite a few 'real' synths back in the day as well as some nice vintage machines like a Hammond organ, whirly, sh101, dx7 etc... You get the idea.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the Alesis is capable off.

Thanks. It's been about 10 years since i've owned an actual piece of keyboard hardware (Alesis QS6) so i'm looking forward to being able to just switch on, plug my headphones in and noodle away...

so i'm looking forward to being able to just switch on, plug my headphones in and noodle away... HAHA! I'm much the same, slip on the cans and off you go like! Much nicer than having to fire up your PC, load up a profile etc... Although at the moment I'm usually plugging into my mixer and noodling away on both my 8HD and K5000s, I just can't seem to leave either of them alone for long at the moment!

I take it you can use the audio inputs on the Fusion to plug in another synth etc...
I've got Propellerheads Reason on my Mac and i'd like to be able to have that running through the Fusion -> headphones for late night sessions.

I believe so yeah, I've not actually tried it yet... Well, I might have done with my bass but I was drunk that night!
I just go thought a mixer for the most part because it's more convenient for me. I use headphones all the time though, I can't actually remember the last time I used my speakers! Not that I can at the moment anyway, Me and my main bits of gear are slumming it downstairs again so they're not hooked up.

It's arrived. I've only had a quick shot of it but buy god does it sound good. I've got a couple of hours of conference calls that I need to get on and so won't have time to go on it again until around 9:00pm. Ho hum. One other thing. Jeez this thing is big and heavy. I had no idea it would be that large

One other thing. Jeez this thing is big and heavy. I had no idea it would be that large It's actually quite a bit smaller than most 88-note keyboards. The weight is coz it's actually very sturdily assembled. Good to hear initial impressions are good - it can only get better. Steve
