Hi everyone totally new member hear saying hello from the Channel Islands.
I have just purchased a used Fusion 8HD in near new condition from ebay.
I took a complete risk as I had not even seen a Fusion in person and after doing lots of research on the net, I was still in two minds (lots of good reports and lots of bad).
I joined this forum and after reading your comments it convinced me to go ahead. (So it's all your fault) LOL
Well it arrived yesterday and after switching it on everything looked ok, the Fusion looked as new (great condition) However no sound !!!!!
I read the quick start guide and the reference manual and could not find out what I was doing wrong.
I started fearing the worst !!! However as a last resort I did a factory reset (power on holding record & play) and Hooray sound.
Still no idea why this should work but what the heck, it does.
it's still very early days (only had a couple of hours on it so far) and I don't have a clue how to use all it features but thats all part of the fun in learning.
What has blown me away is the sounds !!!!
I have several other keyboards (way more expensive than this) and lots of software instruments and I just have to say that I have never heard sounds like these. Fantastic job done.
Don't get me wrong not all of them (some are weak to my ears but I cannot really comment on this as I only looked at a few presets and I am sure they can be tweaked to my taste (when I suss out how).
I look forward to exploring more in the future.
Anyway, great forum and keep up the good work promoting this really underrated keyboard.
