Hmmm wrong, I've seen the list of bugs fixed in 1.24 and it's quite extensive.
I'd say it's a no-brainer, it's easy to upgrade and if you have a backup (which you should anyway) you don't have to fear losing any data.

command sequence: STOP, LOCATE, and CONTINUE.
