Yes and no. You can't choose which tracks to output very easily.
The ADAT output is hardwired as follows...
ADAT channels 1&2 duplicate the main outs. Channels 3&4, the Aux outs. Channels 5 though 7, effects sends 1 to 4.
I've never actually used the ADAT out on mine so I'm not sure exactly how well this may work but why not try routing the main stereo instrument to the aux outs, other mono instruments through the sends and leave everything else to pass through the mix outs.
I have no idea how the effects assignments will be affected or whether you will get any sounds duplicated at more than one output but have a play around and see what happens.
Let us know how you get on though!
Welcome to the forum by the way!

Thanx for the info (and the late welcome - I've been here since Nov. 07) I'll check it out 2moro. I just want to be able to dump my tracks into Nuendo faster. Soon as I do - I'll post the results!

Thanx for the info (and the late welcome - I've been here since Nov. 07) Anytime! I was only saying welcome because that was your first post... I think I've been here about the same amount of time as you BTW. Ah, fair dooz. I try to avoid dumping individual tracks into my sequencer as much as possible now. I just put the odd one or two main tracks in as audio sometimes although the drums always have their own track(s) and then I leave all the rest as one audio feed. Otherwise it would take me an age to get it all done with all the synths I have! Also, it means less time faffing about with the computer... I find that if you have all the individual audio tracks there, it's too tempting to start tweaking at them. I'd rather just get the MIDI right (including automation) and leave it at that wherever possible. Cool, I'll look forward to hearing it!

Well... I'm back and I can't figure it out. I have 8 tracks of instruments (Using the MPC as sequencer) - Have 8 tracks in Fusion. I understand main and aux outs but how do I get tracks to go out of the sends... The manual for this thing sucks! Oh... I posted a lot in the sequencer section right before (and after) I got my fusion. Thanks for all the help!

You cannot route individual sounds to an individual ADAT channel in the Fusion the way you want to do it. You can route a bunch of sounds to Main Left or Main Right, or Aux Left or Aux Right, but not a bass patch to Ch.1, Lead line to Ch.2, etc. Read my post on this from back in 2007 on the subject. fusioneer.proboards102.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=180#1362Search is your friend

Seems to me this is how to do it: 1) In SONG mode, choose EDIT and go to the Effects/SynthIns page. 2) From the SELECT page, choose EDIT Synth Insert: Insert 1 3) Cursor down to Insert Route: Track 1 (or whichever track you want to send to ADAT channel 5) 4) Again, cursor back up to EDIT Synth Insert: Insert 2 5) and then cursor down to Insert Route: Track 2 Repeat for each track. At least that looks like how it's done. I don't have ADAT cables or a way to actually test this yet. At least not until I get my MOTU 828mk3.
