Hey guys, the band I'm in - Bear in the Air - have just put the finishing touches to our debut 4 track release - BiPolar E.P. I use my Fusion 6HD when playing live and also used it for a lot of the synth parts during recording of the EP too. You can hear all four songs in full on our myspace page if you like. It's over at www.myspace.com/bitabearintheairI'd love to hear what you think of the songs if you get a chance to check them out Thanks, Stefan

Some very appealing tunes on the 'Bear in The Air' EP nice vocals and a bit of a Crowded House feel to a couple of the tracks ... should do well. Like your downtempo stuff on your own site btw 'Clockwork Mind' and 'Fuzzy Logic' ... cool tunes Best regards ... Rainbow:)

Thanks for checking out the music I just finished registering the Bear in the Air EP with a digital distributor so we'll be up on iTunes and Amazon download by the end of July. Exciting times!

Not to my normal tastes but I have to say, really rather good!

Thanks It's always good when someone appreciates music even when it's not a style they usually go for. Me and my Fusion are getting all excited about playing at the Cornbury Festival in a week and a half's time now. Should be fun.

I meant to comment when you first posted but must have got distracted at the time...
Very good I thought - I hear stuff like this on the wireless quite a bit (and I don't mean that in a bad way to say that it is derivative, more that I could imagine hearing this and it would sit quite comfortably in a playlist).
Good luck with your band and keep at it.
Steve

Thanks Steve. We got our first plays last night on an internet-only radio show and got a very positive response from the listeners there. We'll be sending some promos to radio DJs soon so hopefully someone might pick up on it

Well done on that airplay ... from little acorns, etc.. Try sending something in to Radcliffe and Maconie on Radio 2 - or better still, contact them and try and get to meet them or their crew (in Manchester I think). They do a terrific programme every evening and are often playing new music (though I don't know whether they accept unsolicited material). Worth a punt. Cheers, Steve

Thanks for that suggestion. You're actually the second person to recommend we send our music to them so we definitely will.
