Is there a solution to this? There is an effects send blendover in the Songmode. When i have 2 tracks which are one the same insert-effect, the bus-sends are summed up somehow. If i have for example track 1 bus send at 0 and then change the bus send for track 2 and this two tracks share the same insert effect, track 1 also gets the bus effect. (bus send track 1 still at 0)

If i have for example track 1 bus send at 0 and then change the bus send for track 2 and this two tracks share the same insert effect, track 1 also gets the bus effect. (bus send track 1 still at 0 The solution is simple - use different insert effects on Track 1 and 2! The send to the bus effects is taken after the insert effect so sending one channel to the bus effect is also going to send the other channel to it as well. The same would happen in 'the real world' - if you strapped a single compressor across two channels (using some Y-cables), signal from one channel would bleed into the other with the same results. Which is why it's never done! One solution (in software) I guess would be to take the send before the insert effect but then you are going to have different problems (for example, sending an uncompressed - or un-EQ'd or un-amp sim'd, whatever - signal to the bus effects) and even if that was acceptable, I am sure you'd have other 'track bleed' problems. So.... don't share a single insert across several channels! Steve

Well thats a pity, because then you run out of inserts quite quickly.
But what if you put all the bus-send-levels, of the tracks which share the same insert, at zero, except for one track??
Than all these tracks get the same amount of bus-send?? (the bus-send-level of this only track)
For example the Korg Trinity has this also. When selecting an insert, the bus send levels of this track are greyed out. The bus send levels are now behind the insert (at the insert effects-page) and affect all the sounds/tracks which use this insert.
So if Alesis could do the same: grey the buseffects out as soon as you choose an insert for this track an put the buseffect-send behind the insert. This could prevent a lot of confusion about this.

A good feature to have, under song mode, is 4 more buses to handle inserts as Sends effects (already present in Bus 1 & 2). When you go to mixer, will be a kid's game to assign it ! let me dream
