Yes - that was on TV here a couple of weeks ago. Very good.
A bit skewed in places ... like focusing on Throbbing Gristle but no mention of Tom Dolby, Howard Jones, Thomson Twins, etc..
And then it all ends around 1985.

It focussed on the most important and most interesting artists, I felt. Stopping in 1985 was perfect as by the synth pop was everywhere by then. Not much of real interest happened after that point.
The documentary hit it on the head when they showed (I think) Haircut 100 with mention of the whiny pap that followed on the back of synth pop.

I too felt it was a bit skewed, but then they only had 90 minutes to work with. What they did show was great and most of the big protagonists got a mention. The follow up program, "Synth Britannia At The BBC" was an awesome collection of live performances by many of the featured artists in the documentary from the BBC archives. There was also a couple of programs on German music of that era called "Krautrock" and a showing of "Minimum/Maximum" by Kraftwerk.
All in all, another fantastic advert for the BBC4 TV channel.
