Not very interesting really... Only 49 keys? no knobs... My quest for the ultimate 76 key controller goes on I do like the look of the Akai 88 key thingy, but it is too heavy to just sling in the car (well it is after two hernia operations )

The CME keyboard controllers do look very tempting. I strongly considered getting one when I only had the 6HD and needed 88keys. Sounds great on paper -- breath controller, lots of knobs/faders for MIDI CC, decent action on the keys themselves, ribbon controller and polyphonic aftertouch... who wouldn't want one, though a bit on the expensive side. I think even Waldorf had an expansion card that went into it for onboard synth capability. Problem is, they have a lot of issues with the firmware and tech support: reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Midi+Keyboard+Controllers/product/CME/VX-8/10/1

To say that CME has problems with tech support is an understatement. Even finding contact information is difficult. There is apparently only one parts supplier in the U.S. (in NYC) and they are not reliable either. I may have gotten the one bad unit that CME ever made, but nonexistent customer support caused me to just have to eat it and now it sits disassembled in my shop with no parts available. www.grahambanks.com
