Hey Guys, I'm not usually a poster but I'm getting ready to start recording my latest Greatest Hits album for the holiday season! I'm having a few problems with my 8HD (running OS 1.24) and Cakewalk Sonar 6: 1. During playback in a multitrack midi recording, the music is automatically transposed down a 1/2 step or full step (not sure which... or why). Anyone else experienced this? Have a solution? 2. Is there an "All MIDI OFF" or "SEND ALL MIDI NOTES OFF" button in Sonar that I'm just not seeing? When I press "stop" after playing, sometimes the notes get stuck on and I don't want to have to turn the fusion on and off every 2-3 minutes 3. Anyone have an updated Cakewalk INS file with the latest freepacks and hollowsun releases? ;D

I can't help with the other Sonar isues but.... 2. Is there an "All MIDI OFF" or "SEND ALL MIDI NOTES OFF" button in Sonar that I'm just not seeing? When I press "stop" after playing, sometimes the notes get stuck on and I don't want to have to turn the fusion on and off every 2-3 minutes i would have thought that Sonar issued an ALL NOTES OFF command when stop is pressed but in the event that it doesn't (or there is some other problem) and you get hung notes, rather than rebooting Fusion all the time, just switch modes - from SONG/MIX to PROGRAM for example. The mode change appears to kill all sustained notes. Steve

Is there an "All MIDI OFF" or "SEND ALL MIDI NOTES OFF" button in Sonar that I'm just not seeing? I don't use Sonar 6, but in Sonar 5, there is an exclamation mark (!) symbol to the right of the transport controls. This is the midi reset button. Hope that helps, Paul Edit: Just remembered that you can send an all notes off command (maybe midi reset) by pressing the Stop button on the Fusion's transport controls.

Thanks a lot guys!
I've just created a cakewalk INS and will be testing that out momentarily. Also, the "stop" button AND the "!" button work great to send "all midi notes off" command.
I'm just a dork and don't read directions.
Thanks again!
