I started a new song, I only used 2 drum programs and holy grail piano... When I tried to add another program I got this error message "Cannot read file on Rom". After that all the holy grail piano samples were not loading... I already sent it back a few months ago to musicstore for repairing for the same reason and got it back after a couple of months... Does anyone has any idea how to solve this by my self without deleting everything? I already verified everything and restore default global settings and nothing happened. Plz, if anyone knows I would be grateful. Thanks

What version OS are you running? You need 1.24.

I do have OS 1,24. I agree with what everyone says in here. That fusion is the cheapest workstation with so many amazing possibilities. But.... it is not a reliable instrument. I bought fusion 8hd 3 years ago from musicstore.de , the last 2 years I use it as a stage piano... just playing piano, nothing more. Because when I push it to the limits it crashes. I was creating songs with many audio and synth tracks, as a result I was getting error messages all the time... I sent it back once for repair and now after a few months I am experiencing the same problem again. When I try to load the holy grail samples I get "Cannot read file on ROM". I am so bored and tired with the hole situation that makes me say I should have invested my money on a stage piano instead, at least I would play the piano. I am so disappointed with fusion as with the musicstore, they keep avoiding me so my guarantee will eventually over...

Try adding the extra memory. I find it's a must for demanding users. I don't fear multiple, big, 4 osc. programs, in a mix or song. No cannot read, cannot find messages etc. But your unit should be running much better as it is. SO
You could save all your data to a computer and re boot your fusion to factory norm, test it and if it works in general, slowly and carefully loading in your other samples, programs, Hollow Sun, and audio tracks, watching to see if any of these downloads cause the afore mentioned messages and/or problems, ID em and get rid of em.
I know it's a bit of work. But. It would suck if a bit of corrupted data, gave one the illusion that a perfectly amazing keyboard is a piece of -------.
It doesn't seem like such a big thing to me now.
Save, Wipe, Reinitialize, check, carefully reload and find the offending data. Or so we hope.
Good Luck

Is a little bit difficult for me to add an extra memory because there is no any alesis agency around here. Also an extra memory would cost me a lot, I'm not sure if a should invest any money in a faulty instrument. Even with out the specific problem there are a lot of issues that will make me thinking twice any investment in this synthesizer. I will mention a few bugs that bother me. For example, the expression pedal is not working, only as a volume pedal is useful. When I play overdubbing arpeggios, lot of the times the arpeggio looses the rhythm. (tested with metronome) When I use the item explorer to transfer a program, most of the times the instrument crashes (I'm not transferring any programs that are used in mix mode or song mode). When I use in song mode two tracks with holy grail grand pianos, it crashes... (this is the beginning of my main issue). It is inevitable since the holy grail is the first choice when I select to add a synth track... Anyway, if I was sure that the instrument would be stable for a couple of years I would add an extra memory, but I'm not sure at all. Finally, when the "musicstore" guarantee will over (in a few months will be done, if they will still keep avoiding me and telling lies that they will help me...) I will try all these things you mentioned above. Even If I'm sorry to waste all the effort I did to compose so many songs, programs, samples, mixes, arpeggios, drum patterns and so on... I will just compromise to keep some of my songs in audio format. I don't want to be ungrateful since Fusion has so many amazing features in such a low price. Indeed it is an amazing keyboard, but now I know why it is so cheap...
Thanks for the reply and the good luck, I will need it.
