G'day Fusion users.
Wow what a synth.. i first heard about the Fusion the Carbon111 review and then on the Soundonsound web site. I like the sound of the FUsions flexability and the fact it has a HDD and 4 sound engines.
I picked up a second hand Fusion 6HD here in Australis for about US$650.00 and I just bought the RAM upgrade (Hiphoptool sell them for US$125.00 each) since I wanted to use the sampler extensively and have the ability to store more programs.
The Ram upgrade was slightly trickier that I thought it would be, AS the Akai EXM E3 RAM sticks i purchased did not seem to be Keyed, hence I was concerned i'd install them incorrectly. Alas nothing bad happened.
I'm still really just getting used to all the programs, and installing the Hallowsound banks.. My first impressions are good.
Thanks for this forum I hope it stay up for a long time as I don't intend parting with my Fusion any time soon.
I enjoy programing synths, so I post up synth and FM engine patches as I create them. I also intend to sample my MKS-70 and MKS-70 Roland super Jupiters/JX's and I'll also sample the Davesmith Intruments Mono and poly Evolvers. And if there's every any time left some of the Waldorf XT wavetable sounds might make an appearance.
More soon.
