press & hold 1 and 8 while turning on the Fusion to enter diagnostics mode, next press the button next to memory, then press the button next to processor Attachments:

Thank you Sir Jesse! Looks like i got one that is already maxed out. I have had three 6HD's in the past and never went into the diag mode. This one is a 8HD i'm loving the action on it.

Nice one! foosion . . . The 8HD has a keybed to die for, that will please any classically trained pianist. Expression by the bucketload. As good if not slightly more to my liking than my Baby-Grand - probably 'cos its newer Have you found the settings to get it exactly how you like it? Its in the <global> somewhere . . . . Best Regards parametric

Thanks Parametric . Honestly i was looking for another 6HD when i stumbled on the 8 glad i took a shot with it because its way better than the key bed on my QS8.2 . So my 8.2 is now going bye bye and the 8HD will remain the centerpiece of my studio. I'll have to try adjusting the KB settings to see how it changes things maybe this weekend.
I hope 2013 brings some interesting stuff for Fusion owners.

I thought the key bed on the Fusion was the same as on the QS8 (I own both). Was the QS8.2 different?

I thought the key bed on the Fusion was the same as on the QS8 (I own both). Was the QS8.2 different? Not sure about the QS8 , But i had a QS8.1 before the 8.2 It had a really nice Fatar keybed . The 8.2 is a big step down from the 8.1. On the 8.2 they did away with the wood end caps eliminated 1 card slot, the aux outputs as well as digital out and BNC Clock connector the keybed is cheesy on the 8.2 and even lacks after touch!!. I'm really not sure is the Fusions keybed was sourced from Fatar but it sure feels nice and reminds me more of the 8.1 keybed.

I'm really not sure is the Fusions keybed was sourced from Fatar but it sure feels nice and reminds me more of the 8.1 keybed. Wow, it's really sad to hear what they did to the QS8 series over time. I like mine (original). I can't imagine it without after touch. That's part of the reason to have it! I ended up not using cards much, due to the clumsiness of creating custom cards, and I don't think the official QCards sold well (too expensive), so when I saw they cut a slot out, I wasn't surprised. And the aux outs, eh... the sync connector, I guess I can see those all going away too, especially the sync connector if the digital output was removed. But then, eliminating the ADAT out is like throwing away key Alesis tech! All those changes basically turn the QS8.2 into a non-pro keyboard. Alesis was already ruining their product before the Fusion came along. Very sad. They were a neat combo of pro and accessible. So if the info matters, I think the original QS8 key bed is at least nearly the same as the Fusion's. but I've no proof but the experience using them both.
