My Fusion's Tempo light is flashing, I don't remember it doing this before and I don't know what is causing it, does anyone have an idea as to what is causing this?
Thanks ... Jesse

Both of my 8HD's always have flashed this, I thought they were supposed to, it just marks the tempo of the ARP clock. Perhaps you had an intermittent joint in the LED in the panel? Perhaps there is a global setting to turn it off/on - I'll have a look in a bit.

Stop press - couldn't see an obvious setting.

The Tempo Light does flash all the time, the rate of speed varies with whatever Tempo you have set, it's like a silent metronome.
However when I was in song mode I could not vary the tempo by turning the 4th knob which is assigned to vary the tempo. There was (E) next to the tempo setting on the display - there was an error some where, most likely caused by me playing around with the various settings.
I ran diagnostics on rebooting the Fusion and fortunately did not find any rpoblems.
I rebooted the Fusion again while pressing Record & Play to reset the Fusion back to factory defaults, this corrected the error.
In the Future I will try to keep a close eye on the Tempo display in order to find out what caused the error.

The 'E' next to the tempo setting shows that the Fusion is set to receive an External clock, hence why the tempo couldn't be varied using the knob.

That's good info, thanks Paul, is that documented anywhere? I saw the section on internal and external MIDI clocks but nothing about displaying 'E' when synced externally.

I can't remember reading about it anywhere, I was just messing about one day, syncing the Fusion to other equipment, and noticed that the tempo was stuck on 120 (bpm) and the 'E' had appeared next to the readout. I then realised that it was because I'd set the Fusion to receive MIDI clock in the global settings.
