Hi, I have sampled the brass section and the brass fall waveforms from my Yamaha S90es (raw waveforms, with no effects, no envelopes, full velocity), as I wish to recreate a brass sound which, when played gives a swell and when the aftertouch is used triggers the brass fall. I have 2 doubts (please check the attachment to hear the original s90es program which I want to duplicate): 1) How can I create the swell? I have tried but it seems that fusion won't allow me to have the sustain sound at a higher level than the decay sound (as I can do in the s90es). I tried using 2 envelopes to control volume but the 2nd envelope didn't seem to help. 2) How can I program the aftertouch to trigger an specific multisample? If that is not possible (it is possible in the s90es) how can I make the brass fall to respond only to velocities 120-127? Can I do that in program mode? If I can't do it in program mode, can I open the multisamples in sample mode and combine then in regions after having already imported 2 different multisamples (brass section and brass fall) from the Fusion Converter? By the way I have used Sample Robot to do the sampling and looping and the samples sound great by themselves. If I can make them work I'll make those available for the comunity. I also intend to sample the marvelous s90es acoustic piano and rhodes. Be patient with me as I'm a new Fusion user and have had an Ensoniq ASR-88 as my only sampler before this. Attachments:

I don't know if you have this Fusion Manual addendum ver 1.21 or not, maybe there is some useful info in there. Maybe Steve, kpr, Joeri, Roberto, Shreddie, pisonic or some other knowlegable person will jump in here with some help Attachments:

Tks, I'd read it but I'll check it out again. I took another route and was able to recreate the patch. But I still would like to know the answers to those questions :-) I'll upload the patch for everyone to download and tell me what they think.
