Hello....thanks for making this bundle available.
The ROM expansion pack includes the fusion sample packs 1, 2, and, 3, is that right?
Are these samples designed for the standard RAM version of the Fusion?
Thanks

Yes, plus even more:
- The exclusive samples 4 bank (not available separately) - additional 3 Program Presets banks
It works with the standard 64 MB RAM.
When having installed the ROM-Expansion you can also load the 3 Program Presets banks Electric Piano, Guitar and Bass, which can be purchased for Euro 9.00 each.
The ROM-Expansion is something every Fusion owner should have, it doubles the sonic capabilities with 230 new sample instruments as well as over 500 Program Presets in one easy-to-use package.

Hi thanks for the note.
I did get them loaded and will finally have time tomorrow to play around with them some more. First impression is that these are terrific and I have definitely upgraded my instrument by adding these libraries.
I picked up the KPR organ library as well. I actually just bought a used Nord Electro 2 off craigslist a few months ago, mainly for the organ sounds.....now I am wondering if that purchase was necessary.
Very nice work...

Great that you like the sounds!
With the Fusion Organ sample library w/Presets I tried to simulate a real organ. At least how far it is possible with the Fusion's Controller Assignment options.
A organ works with Drawbars, Percussion buttons, Rotary Speaker and Amp setting details - I guess you are pretty familiar with all this.
So I developed a Controller Assignment for those purposes with these details:
The Control Knobs 1-3 are assigned with single drawbars or combinations of drawbar settings, percussion and additional registers for typical organ layers.
When playing the Preset you can add the related drawbar setting by turning the Control Knob.
There is a standard Controller setting for all other organ effects: Pitch Bend for overdrive, Modulation Wheel for loudness dynamics, SW1 Switch for Rotary Speaker fast speed and Control Knob 4 for Reverb intensity. The church organ Presets Controller setting is slightly different to simulate their register options.
It is a good idea to check all Program Presets in details to learn how they are done and what you can do with each of them.
The Nord Electro is different to all this as the Organ section is Physical Modelling. As I also work for Clavia (Nord Keyboards) as sample developer, I had to learn a lot to understand their instrument. To me it is a very nice Organ simulation because there are all Drawbars there, a LED chain for each and this makes it possible to come rather close to the handling of a real Organ like a Hammond B3 or so.
Compared to my Organ sample library for the Fusion the Clavia Electro Organs sounds different and I like both very much. The Fusion's Rotary Speaker effect is a bit weak, so I recommend at least a additional external Leslie Effect, something like the floor unit from BOSS RT-20 or a Alesis MIDIVerb IV.

I have two Alesis Sumo 300 keyboard amps connected to my Fusion, I use the built in Rotary effect on the amp when playing organ sounds on the Fusion and it sounds great.

Just sent an email to Julia for a "customised" special offer. Anyway, it's good to see Klaus has more to come with the Fusion. No doubt about the quality of the coming quality of the sounds, Klaus knows how to get the best from our old beast.

I've just pushed the button on a customised package of the Advanced Power Package, Fusion Drums, New FM and was so pleased I went for the ROM expansion as well. Now I have days of exciting exploring in front of me I won't disclose prices (other than to say that I'm very pleased) as that is down to negotiation with the ever-helpful Julia if you are interested (thanks a million, Julia) but I would like to openly express my thanks here for the prompt and courteous service even over the Christmas and New Year break. Get 'em while they are hot, Fusioneers! James

Bought my new year's pack and spent a couple of hours to browse through the sound. My favorite is the Minimoog Library. Some years ago I had a Plugiator and it was Ok but Klaus library is just fantacstic. It sounds great and it's really possible to tweak sounds and to recreate those great sounds. I also have a Kurzweil PC3 which is a very good synth but I must admit that the Fusion loaded with quality samples sounds even better for the analog recreations. My only advice : go for it !
