Thanks Jesse! Have you also noticed the little difference between the power supplies from the 6hd and 8hd (and the other differences I pointed out) or it's just my impression? Are yours 8hds identical to the one in the 8hd guide internally?

It looks like your 6HD has the newer PSU with the larger heat sink, the difference in orientation is probably due to less available space in the 6HD

I suppose that a smart move from the people who has the older psu would be to add a thick cardboard (or better, other non inflamable materia) as in the pictures, separating the heat sources on the power supplies from the cables, as I suspect people who have experienced fire on their fusion, may have had those wires melt and touch the metal on the heatsinks. Also, glueing other heatsink you may have around (from old computer motherboards or graphics cards, or coolers) with superglue in the existing heatsinks might help dissipate heat (I've done that with success on computer systems that I have overclocked). Just a thought though, no guarantees.
