I wrote a reverse volume pedal [expression controller 11] program for the Alesis Quadrasynth, and Plus Piano. It was great. When layered with a regular volume pedal, it would allow me to cross-fade live from one sound to another. I wrote one for the fusion after a lot of work, but the results are less than spectacular. Anybody had any luck with this? I posted this in the wrong place the first time, hopefully this is better.

Can you list the program here so we can see what you did, then maybe we can find a solution.

It's a piano program. I used to use it to fade from piano to organ, or piano to strings, though occassionally other sounds. It worked great on the Quadrasynth. The one I wrote for the fusion isn't good, however. I don't have it up in front of me and I can't remember quite how I did it. Or almost did it. As I say, it wasn't great. Kind of glitchy. I hoped someone had already written a reverse expression [volume] pedal program. When I get it up again, I may give it another shot.
Speaking of the other fusion. Thank you very much for your saga of making a non working fusion work. Did you finish? Anyway, I bought a new lcd screen following your link [$20], and put it in one, which I bought w broken screen for $300. It WAS blank. Now it's dark. The back-light plug doesn't fit [2 wires] I spliced onto the old plug, but still no light. It IS readable with a flashlight, though so fine in the studio, and my other is for gigging. I have come up with a work around. the 2 wires are connected to a 9 volt battery on the outside of the unit[disconnected when not in use]. Rube Goldberg eat your heart out.
