This is PROBABLY only feasible for UK/Europe - due to expense of shipping . . . . BUT - It does give you an option if your Fusion looks like becoming a paper-weight . . . www.sector101.co.uk/pcbrepair.htmlBrian Allen is a member of one of my other Forums (YamahaForumsUK) and he makes some innovative and interesting product, not least, the E3 Ram upgrade boards for the Fusion, well below the usual price . . . www.sector101.co.uk/exm-e3.htmlBest Regards parametric

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" That's great News especially for the Fusion's main board which cost about $550 Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" That's great News especially for the Fusion's main board which cost about $560 I am in the process of removing the main PCB from my nonworking Fusion in hopes of spotting the problem area. I figure it is either a bad solder joint or a defective chip, I am going to replace the ribbon cable from the main PCB to the right front PCB with a new cable as well, just in case that's the problem. Considering the cost of shipping the Fusion to TSI in New Jersey for repairs (they only replace PCB's which I can do myself), the cost of shipping a PCB for repair from the USA to England may actually be about the same as shipping the Fusion to TSI as long as Brian only needs the PCB in need of repair. I will be in touch with Brian, shortly Thanks Chris Another part or unit repair service available is InstrumentalParts.com RepairsI never noticed this service before, but it's nice to know, Things are looking up for extending the Fusion's Life Span
