I have 3 Fusions [still the best out there] that I'm sometimes either upgrading or repairing. Anyone who's done this knows there are a lot of screws involved. All 3 were bought used, and I need lots of screws [both missing when purchased, and lost by me]. Does anyone know where these screws may be purchased and/or the specs of the screws? Most pressing is the small black ones holding the case together, but all Fusion screws would be of interest. Thanks.

Hi Bill,
The Service Manual does have BOM that lists all the parts, but it's not forthcoming about what the screws actually ARE. It only gives the Alesis part numbers.
It MAY be possible to identify the ones you need from the several exploded views that are shown.
I tried, but ran out of steam on it . . . . You may do better?
Do you HAVE the Service Manual?
If you <pm> me your email address, I'll send it to you . . .
This far down the road - it may prove easier to visit a screw-factors, with one of the screws - and let them identify it and provide what you need?

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this thread, I have a lot of projects going on- computer upgrades, keyboards and a 40 year old Honda CB550F mortorcycle my son and I are working on Some of the screws on the inside used to hold the PCB's in place should be the same as you would get when you build a computer, the screws holding the case together are a little different and I am in the process of locating a source. I may buy them in bulk and sell small packages of these if I can not find a reasonable price on a small quantity. I went to three different businesses trying to size the small black screws (1) & (2) below holding the case together with no luck.
They are larger than a M3 screw and smaller than a M4 screw.
Based on my measurements using a digital caliper and a metric thread gauge the best I can come up with is an M3.5 x 0.6mm thread pitch
(1) The shorter black screws on the back of the Fusion holding the Fusion's case together seem to be M3.5 x 0.6mm thread pitch x6mm long (this is an oddball size)
(2) The longer black screws on the back of the Fusion holding the Fusion's end caps on and case together seem to be M3.5 x 0.6mm thread pitch x 8mm long (this is an oddball size)
(3) The screws holding the rubber feet on the bottom of the Fusion are a standard size M5 x 0.8 x 16mm longI will try to find some online and see how they work, if i can find some.

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast"
I found some M3.5 x 0.6mm thread pitch 6mm length and 8mm length, I ordered a pack of 100 each.
I will post here Friday to let you know if they worked or not.
