I just checked MY copies of the HS Freepack#s and if you open any of them there is a <volume> folder inside
THIS is the Folder you drag to the ROOT of the Fusion's HD - NOT the HS Freepack# Folder!
All EXCEPT HS Freepack#13. My copy of this is Malformed with NO volume folder inside.
If you <PM> you email addy to me, I'll attach the corrected version I've made, or better still, I'll send you ALL the HS Freepacks - AND Joeri Peeter's document too.

Ok, I finally was able to load the banks in my alesis fusion. What I had to do, using Windows 7, I loaded all the banks downloaded on my computer. Next I extracted them. Then I opened them. For a example, hollow sun 1, when I opened it up to the volume folder. From there I open up the volume folder to where it said multisamples, programs, samples. I clicked on programs where it didn't open up it. I right click it and used the copy option. Then I when and clicked the fusion drive on my computer.from there, I put my mouse pointer right beside volume and right click and chose paste. It readed on my computer screen copying to volume folder. I unplugged the USB cord and went to global button. I push items button. I mark all in there and them pushed process. From there a new screen came up. I push the dec button till I got to program and then push verify. I push yes and it loaded.

Two points:
You do NOT need to go INSIDE the Volume folder when adding Banks.
simply right-click on it and select <copy>
Then OPEN the Fusion HD, and (as you said) right-click NEXT to IT'S Volume folder and select <paste>
It's that simple.
You can copy/paste MANY Banks BEFORE you disconnect the Fusion. The <Verify> process will deal with ALL that you have copied.
N.B. - When you Verify, tick ALL the options SONGS, MIXES, PROGRAMS, PATTERNS, MULTISAMPLES, SAMPLES . . . .
It may not be relevant for simply adding Banks - but as you do MORE, they WILL become relevant, so best to tick them all . . . . .
The SECOND Point is - DO NOT simply pull out the USB cable when you have finished. Doing this may corrupt your data . . . .
FIRST - Close all Explorer Windows that are open*.
Right-Click on the Fusion HD and select <Remove Drive> and let Windows TELL you that it has removed the Drive . . . .
AS SOON as you do this, the Fusion will reboot by itself . . . . . THEN you can remove the USB cable . . . .
*Note: Windows cannot remove the Drive if it is open in a Window . . . . .
So now you can enjoy all your new sounds . . . .
