Alright, as of right now this is what I have that features the Fusion: Posted first elsewhere at the request of a fellow interested in the sample-mangling capabilities of the Fusion: Fusion PighoodThese are Mellotron Brass, "Syncage" (a John Cage synth sound I'm assuming), and Glockenspiel samples lovingly FM'd with 22 mod slots routing 6 LFOs. This is just one program and a few sustained notes with additional notes added and sustained over time. This next one is a Christmas Song my brother and I wrote for a CD released over this past weekend: Christmas LightsEverything but the guitar (and vocals, of course) are Fusion. Now I is at Soundclick (let me know if the link gives you troubles), the drums and lead sounds are Fusion. The Fusion is simply a quick demo I threw together when I first got the Fusion to learn it and get used to it.

These are Mellotron Brass, "Syncage" (a John Cage synth sound I'm assuming)... Ah yes, I made that assumption too until I realised the name was meant as "sync-age" rather than "syn-cage". Then it made much more sense. Nice sound, by the way... it's an ambient noise track, all on its own. (I'm sure I danced to something not dissimilar a couple of inFests ago...)

Hi Sizzle,
Without wishing to comment on the other demos you've offered up (which are very good BTW), the PIGHOOD mp3 is simply astonishing!! Hard to believe that came from Fusion --- sounds more like something that would come from a roomful of mainframes at IRCAM, Paris! Some serious sample mangling going on there.
I heard it at VSE and I am glad you've brought it over here for us to enjoy and marvel at!

Thanks for the props on the Pighood sound. I honestly only scratched the surface of this kind of programming - I think a sample-based program could get a lot more sophisticated and interesting. Perhaps one of these evenings I'll give a go at another sound to try some ideas I had while putting this program together.

Wow, I am very impressed! With the Christmas song, did you record everything on the Fusion, or were you in a studio proper?
Good job on all those demos!
