I am trying to alter the portamento time during playback of a sequence from Sonar to the Fusion in song mode.
I think that you have to send a CC (cc65) to turn porta on, and then another (cc5) to set the time.
The patch (as stored), is already set up with a porta time, and works ok, but however much I experiment with Sonar settings, I can't get the Fusion to respond to any portamento changes.
Alternatively, is there a way to send control codes from Sonar to alter the Fusion knob settings for that particular track (in song mode), because the patch has one knob set up to alter the porta time, and I could use this method if it's possible.
My method at the moment is to save the same patch with the porta time set to what I want, set that up on another track on the Fusion, and then switch between the two at the appropriate time, but I would rather do it using control codes.
Can anybody shed some light please,
Paul

It's OK, I found out how to do it by controlling the knob value using control codes.

I don't know, but it seems like it would be nice if we could program certain keys as macro's to perform a series of steps.

If only the Fusion had a SysEx implementation, we could do all of this in a breeze...

Twice with the SysEx implementation.
