This is a program with samples from my digeridoo. I can't play it but this program sounds quite authentic and could be useful if you don't want to learn continuous breath :-). There are four samples (3 loops and a key off one). Use the mod wheel to fade between two loops, the third one comes with the aftertouch. Pitch wheel pitches down and moves the filter's cutoff up. The original pitch is D2. It's there : deweak.free.fr/fusion/Digeridoo.zipN.B. this is my first attempt to upload a complex sound, I don't know if it will work

Hi Deweak - I've tried to load the files, but can't get it to recognise the program bank. I get all the samples over and can listen to them, but not the actual performacne program. I've tried a few things like creating a bank.txt file, but still no luck.
Anyone else managed to get it loaded? Am I just being dumb and missing something. I have got all the other HS patches copied over OK so far.
The samples sound interesting though, so can't wait to hear the full performance.

In my 6HD the program was placed in a "Deweak" folder. Maybe it has to be there to find the path to the samples.

I went back in and manually edited the programs directory to Deweak, and the top level bank.txt file to add a new Deweak directory, and hey presto I can now play it. Nice touch with the mod wheel moving between the two drone sounds.
I need to find the rules for copying over sounds to see what is going wrong. Some volumes have bank.txt inside and outside the various directories, which I think makes the necessary changes when you process the banks.

Cool. If I had a good Digeridoo and if I could play this instrument well, we would have a great Jamiroquai-ish program :-)

Incidentally, I found the Wind model fairly useful for making a dijeridu sound... and if you then put a couple of key parameters under the control of a sampled/held LFO you can get a nice rhythmic effect, a bit like the dij on The Shamen's "Evil is Even".
I'll stick up the patch, or a description thereof, in a bit if anyone's interested (Fusion and computer are in different rooms), but it's one of those sounds that just "fell out" of the model without really trying.

That's interesting. Does it sound natural or a bit artificial ? The thing I regret with my Z1's digeridoos is that it remains a metallic aspect. With a sampled instrument, you losesome control over the timbre but you get a more realistic overall result.
I've uploaded a new zip archive with correct pathes.
