Help! Anyone. I just bought a new Fusion 8HD a couple of days ago. Everything was great up until this morning. Last night I was exploring the wonderful sounds and checking out how to make a song and was quite thrill with my purchase. This morning when I turn it on it gave me an "ERROR cannot read file on ROM - Error code (0X0300000D)" I tried reseting it and it still happens. I don't have my sounds. Can anyone help me? Is there an easy fix? or do I need to return it?
Thanks

If you have a CF card and OS 1.24, try re-installing that first You can get OS 1.24 here if you do not have it. www.alesis.com/index.php?id=58,59,0,0,1,0

Unfortunately I had to post a help message before I got to introduce myself. No problem - shit can happen in any sufficiently complex software system. What procedure did you use to 'reset' it? And what OS is installed (GLOBAL > SYSTEM)? QUESTION: Have you had you Fusion hooked up to your PC/Mac over USB and done any data re-organisation? Not accusing - just eliminating possibilities. And Happy Birthday BTW Steve

I have a Mac, but an older system on it, so I can't seem to download the 1.24 OS, I have OS 1.23 right now. I have not tried to hook the computer up to the keyboard yet, so I know that's not the problem. Not that I haven't done things like that before. I reset the factory defaults by pressing the "play" and "record" buttons when I turned it on. That didn't seem to do anything.
As I was writting this my friend that works at the store that I got the keyboard from came and is going to take it in and have the store update everything for me.
I'll let you know in a couple of days if it all worked out.
I've never been much with being patient, but I guess I don't have much choice. Not the way I was planning to spend my birthday.
Thanks for your input. DM

I received my new keyboard with all the updated OS and extra sounds on it yesterday. All goes well for now. I'm looking forward to see what I can do with it now.javascript:add(%22%20:)%22)
