Hi Hanger, i think many people on here would tell you that the main manual is pretty much useless, start with the quickstart guide, then play and learn from navigating the machine, also the guides that can be downloaded off the alesis site are good too.

The Quickstart can be downloaded from a link at the bottom of the home page here, same with the tutorials. The main manual is not totally useless. I am discovering things from it all of the time. It just is not the best place to start.

Ok, perhaps i could have worded it a bit better, your right, once you have your head around the basics lots of info can be gleaned from the main manual, i was talking about from a new users perspective, should have been a little clearer.

If your Fusion is coming tommorow you should download the Quickstart and Ref manual pdf files from Alesis.com so you can really get going quickly. They have lots of documentation on thier website and HollowSun sound files. Down load them now and be ready.

If you want some quick fun, go to program mode, scroll through the sound programs, play with the knobs and enjoy how the sound changes. With the Hollow Sun sounds and their Freepacks, you'll have fun for days if not weeks.
If you're into synth programming, go to 'Edit' in Program mode, and select 'New Program', try 'Analog', 'FM', 'Sample', ... and enjoy!
