Didn't know this site was here until today. Nice to see such a positive attitude toward the Fusion for a change. Not bought one yet but I'm definitly being swayed in that direction

I am sure glad I bought my 6hd. And it is my only keyboard. So to only have one keyboard it matters much more which one I have. I think I made the best choice. And the keybed is amazing! There were no dealers around where I live, so I had to buy it online and go by reviews of the keybed. Keybed is very important to me. And so when I got it and played it, the first thing I was thinking about was how do the keys feel to play. So I started playing and knew right away. I remember thinking wow! This keybed is just plain awesome! Next I installed the Hollow suns and freepacks. Some of them were not quite to my liking, so I tweaked them a bit when I got around to it and saved them. You hear from one person, yamaha has better sounds, and Fusion from another. And Korg from another. But the fact is, you can edit and save them the way you like them anyways. Out of all the keyboards I have tried, I have never found one whos presets impressed me all that much. I end up tweaking most of them. And I must say, that with the Hollow suns and a whole slew of the rom sounds, I had to tweak less of them to my liking than any other board I had before. I like having the vintage sounds. Phodes, and other similar electric pianos, B3 organs, etc... You see, I am not a pro. Guitar is my first instrument. So I don't play in a band with the keys. I just play them for fun. And even though I don't need many instruments, I enjoy finding new sounds for free and adding them in the fusion. Great also is that I can download many free sound fonts online and install them onto it. It makes me feel like the value is going up and up while I spend no more money on it. I am an edit whore anyways! I must have raised the value by a couple hundred bucks by now! Which is neither here nor there because I will never sell it but, it still feels good. I spend half my fusion time if not more working on sounds, and adding new ones. Creating new programs with the virtual analog as well as sample programs. Just trying new things!
