Hi, I'm a gigging musician from Gloucestershire in the UK, and got completely fed up with schlepping around a controller keyboard and three sound modules to get what I need, so I bought my 8HD last August and have been gigging with it ever since!
I love the thing to bits, but dragging it around is the only disadvantage, especially in the hard case I bought for it -- it only *just* fits in my car (a Mini, OK maybe not my best thought out decision!).
The one thing I couldn't bear to sell was my Oberheim OB3 squared -- the Alesis organs just weren't up to much.
