Hello!
I am a new Fusion owner (6HD) and have had the board for apprx 1 month, and have yet to really dig in (due to gigging and other functions).
I am a semi-professional drummer of 24 years, originally from Rochester, NY (35 years) now living in the Tampa, FL area (2 years) via Buffalo, NY (1 year).
I had a hard time trying to find the 'right-gig' with the 'right-people' and decided (like a schmed!) to get rid of my beautiful Sonor drumkit and just build a small home studio. As soon as I got rid of the kit, the 'right-gig' with the 'right-people' cam along for me.

But, when I got rid of the kit, I purchased some KRK Rokit 8's (pair) with a KRK Rokit 10 sub. An Audix Mic w/stand, a Tascam 8 track digital recorder w/cd burner, the Alesis Fusion 6HD, Roland SPD-S and all the necessary cables. All of this was stored in my spare room, still in boxes from 3.30.07 until 10.5.07, because I started to gig (oh, yeah, had to get another drumkit.....wife was really happy about that!!! But I finally found the perfect compact workstation desk and made a simple modification to it, so that it houses everything, including the keyboard, on it and was $180.00!!! Pretty cheap, but well worth every $$$! 8-)Check out the pics on the set-up thread.
I am hoping to be able to pick some brains on this forum, because I am about as sharp as a bowling ball at times. So please be patient with the real dumb-ass questions. Hope to learn a lot with this board with all of your help. And maybe some day, I can help others.
