I bought a 8HD a few years ago but it was having problems with its hard drive so I traded it for a Mo6.
I've been pretty happy with mo but I miss the sounds of the fusion.
With the price drops it's getting very tempting, my poor credit card!
I guess I would chance buying a used fusion 6HD if it was under $400.
Could someone tell me which forum to ask about memory upgrades?
Is it something I can do?
Thanks

Expanding the memory is something to do if you have electronic experience and know what you are doing. If not I think you would be better off to have it done. If you are using it in a studio setting you may not need the upgrade. I don't gig with mine and I have not found the unexpanded memory to be an issue.
Good luck on finding a 6HD for that low a price. I saw one for 550 on Craigslist. that is the lowest price I have seen anywhere.

Yea it would probably be better to go new anyway.
I just remember converting some sample libraries onto the fusion hard drive but most couldn't be used because not enough memory.

Hey, I got a 6HD for $550 last Friday & I haven't had any problems w/ the memory - I don't know what you're trying to load but... GET THE FUSION! It's a great board & U know it. If it wasn't U wouldn't be here right?
